Repository Pit

In October-November 2002 a salvage excavation was carried out on the 'Temple Hill' by R. Kletter.

The excavation revealed a round favissa (underground storage of temple furnishings), about 2 meters in diameter, of the Iron Age II period dating from the ninth century BCE.

The entire pit was packed with bows, chalices and cultic stands, some of those were evenfound intact.
